So, AX this year? I can provide myself transportation to where ever, but I am wondering if anyone else would be going?

I only get the 5th off from work. And I wont be at a point where I want to use vacation days for something like that. But I will say maybe... just in case... :-P

I think I'm more or less done with southern California for the time being.. so I don't want to have to go down there unless I really have to.
The reason that every major university maintains a department of mathematics is that it is cheaper to do this than to institutionalize all those people.

So, even though I created this topic, with the news of me going to Germany I have decided not to use my leave to go to AX. Instead before I leave for Germany (probably sometime in like September) I will take a couple weeks off to go back home before I fly away to Germany. Which means that I will be back in Pleasanton. So, plan on a get together of some sort occurring.
